1/2 cup Long grained Rice (soaked and drained)
1 lt full-fat milk
400 ml condensed milk
0.5 grams saffron strands
1/4 cup rose water
2 nos green cardamom
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp ghee
1/4 cup soaked golden raisins
1/4 cup blanched almond slivers
Wash rice and soak in water for few minutes.
Heat ghee in a pan, add cardamom and soaked basmati rice.
Stir it well for 2 minutes Add milk and bring it to a boil.
Add saffron and let it cook for 15- 20 minutes until the rice is soft and completely cooked Next, add condensed milk and sugar.
Stir it and mix it well Heat ghee in another pan, add chopped nuts, raisins and roast it well Pour in the tempering and add rose water Your delectable rice kheer is ready to serve. Enjoy!
