Simple Boondi Aloo Raita

Homemade raitas are the best, isn't it? Here is a simple recipe of boondi aloo raita for you to try.

INGREDIENTS

    200 gms yoghurt (Dahi)
    2 tbps khari boondi
    1 small potato boiled, peeled and cut into very tiny pieces (optional)
    A few coriander leaves, finely chopped
    A few mint leaves, optional
    1/4 tsp red chilli powder
    1/4 tsp pepper powder
    1/4 tsp cumin seed powder
    One small bowl of warm water
    Salt to taste

DIRECTIONS

1. Soak the boondi in some oil.

2. Add the chopped potatoes to the curd.

3. Squeeze the boondi from the water and add it to the curd.

4. Add some salt, coriander leaves, mint leaves.

5. Mix well and garnish with chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper powder and mint leaves.
