INGREDIENTS

    • 1 cup grated coconut
    • 7-8 kokam
    • Coriander for garnish
    • Salt according to taste
    • 2 green chilli
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • Water

DIRECTIONS

  • In a mixer, add 1 cup grated coconut, 2 green chillis, 2 garlic cloves and water
  • TIP: Add salt according to taste only after the mixture is ready and strained
  • Mix till a fine paste appears
  • Now strain the coconut mixture, till a clear coconut milk liquid appears
  • TIP: You can grind the coconut mixture once again, if you want it thinner
  • Once the strained mixture is ready, add 7-8 kokam for tanginess and colour
  • Add salt according to taste
  • Garnish with some coriander leaves
  • Ready to serve
