Upma Recipe Using Leftover Bread

Bread Upma is easy to make breakfast recipe with your leftover bread lying inside your refrigerator. Go ahead and try this innovative recipe by Archana tai.

INGREDIENTS

    7-8 Bread Slices
    ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
    3 Green Chillies
    10-12 Curry Leaves
    ½ lime juice
    Salt to taste
    2 Onions finely chopped
    Coriander leaves
    3 tablespoons oil
    1 teaspoon mustard seeds

DIRECTIONS

Heat oil in a pan
Add mustard seeds, green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, lemon juice & chopped onion. Give a good stir.
Cover it with a lid and let the onions become soft.
Add salt to the upma mixture. Mix well.
Add chopped bread chunks and mix well.
Cover it for 5 minutes.
Bread Upma is ready to be served.
