Procedure:
- Put the grated potato in a bowl
- Add the green chilli and ginger paste
- Add the red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves
- The dry poha
- Tip – The poha acts as a binding agent
- Mix the ingredients well
- Tip - You can put more poha in if the mix is sticky
- Shape into tikkis
- Roll in dry flour
- Shallow fry on medium flame till brown on both sides
- In a bowl mix the amchur powder, black salt, salt and red chilli powder to taste
- Spread out the roti on a plate
- Fill with chopped onions
- The masala mix
- And the patty
- Roll into shape
- Cook on a tawa/ iron griddle till the roti’s are cooked and crisp
- Your vegetable frankie is ready to serve
