Procedure:
  • Put the grated potato in a bowl
  • Add the green chilli and ginger paste
  • Add the red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves
  • The dry poha
  • Tip – The poha acts as a binding agent
  • Mix the ingredients well
  • Tip – You can put more poha in if the mix is sticky
  • Shape into tikkis
  • Roll in dry flour
  • Shallow fry on medium flame till brown on both sides
  • In a bowl mix the amchur powder, black salt, salt and red chilli powder to taste
  • Spread out the roti on a plate
  • Fill with chopped onions
  • The masala mix
  • And the patty
  • Roll into shape
  • Cook on a tawa/ iron griddle till the roti’s are cooked and crisp
  • Your vegetable frankie is ready to serve
