Process:
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add hing
- And jeera
- Once the jeera starts spluttering, add your diced onions
- Stir well
- Once the onions turn translucent, add the peas
- Next add the potatoes
- Salt
- Red chilli powder
- And haldi
- Stir well, cover and cook on a low flame for 10 mins
- Tip – Depending on personal taste you can alter the proportion of peas and potatoes
- Tip – Pour a little water on the lid to steam the vegetables and avoid burning and sticking
- Check if the vegetables are well cooked
- Garnish with coriander and green chillies, and stir well
- Ready to serve
