Monkey Bar's newest outpost is in Bandra

After earning fans in Bangalore and Delhi, Monkey Bar is looking forward to woo its Mumbai counterparts. The trendy gastropub is all set to open its door in Bandra today, giving Mumbaikars enough reasons to cheer (those who have visited its Bangalore and Delhi outposts will agree)! Here’s why you should be heading to the city’s newest gastropub this weekend.

A standout (read quirky Indian) menu

The Monkey Bar menu essentially boasts of regional Indian food, but with a quirky twist. Litti Chokha from Bihar, Dal Pakwan Pizettes, Laal Maas Phulkas and Baingan Pakora Phulka Tacos are some of the dishes that got us talking the most. All in all, a menu that thrives on familiarity you can say. Also watch out for Poha Croqs, Chandraji’s Mutton Curry Balti and the unusually interesting cocktail list.

Décor that speaks

Cheery graffiti, light fixtures sourced from Chor Bazaar in Mumbai, and colourful furniture can guarantee that perfect Instagram shot at Monkey Bar. A game of foosball or pool will ensure that you have a good time.

Outdoor dining

Considering the open spaces that Bangalore and Delhi are blessed with, we are more than thrilled to dine and drink in the outdoors in a city that craves fresh air. Monkey Bar has an alfresco seating area and it’s something we are looking forward to check out very soon.

Pocket-friendly pricing

A meal for two with alcohol, excluding taxes is Rs. 1800++ at the Monkey Bar, which we think is attractive compared to Mumbai standards. An evening with good food at pocket-friendly prices and of course, prompt service is sure to woo us, any time!

Address: Summerville, Junction of 14th & 33rd, Linking Road, Bandra West, Mumbai
