Sabudana Khichdi


  • Heat 2-3 tbsp oil
  • Once the oil is heated, add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera), add 3-4 chopped green chillies
  • For the tapioca (sabudana) mixture: To the tapioca (sabudana) add pounded peanut powder, add 1/2 tsp sugar and salt according to taste
  • Mix well such that all the tapioca (sabudana) grains are well coated with the pounded peanuts
  • To make pounded peanut powder: roast the peanuts till the skin of the peanuts come out. Put them into the mixer and grind it till the peanuts turn into a powder
  • Add the tapioca (sabudana) mixture to the fried chillies and mix everything well
  • Ready to serve
