From our vault of millennial mithais: An Indian dessert made with a twist

Rasmalai is a popular Bengali dessert made with chenna, served with flavoured milk and topped off with a lot of nuts. We decided to give it a twist by layering this rasmalai with espresso-soaked sponge cake and mascarpone cheese. Our rasmalai-tiramisu is the right balance of sweet and bitter and we recommend you make this to serve with your Saturday lunch.
