Authentic Pudina Lachha Paratha By Seema

Procedure:

  • Transfer the wheat flour into a kneading bowl
  • Add the maid to it (all purpose flour)
  • Add the salt
  • Mix it well
  • Add luke warm milk little by little
  • Knead in all the ingredients together
  • TIP: One can use water instead milk for kneading the dough
  • Add oil to the dough
  • Cover the ready dough with a wet cloth
  • Leave the dough covered in wet cloth for 30 mins
  • Take a large portion of the ready dough
  • Dust it with dry flour
  • Roll out the dough into a flat bread
  • Add a little ghee on top
  • Spread it out on top
  • Sprinkle some wheat flour on it
  • Spread it out
  • Sprinkle out the pudina powder on top
  • Lift the paratha from one side and start folding it
  • Stretch the folded paratha slightly
  • Roll in the stretched paratha lengthwise
  • Cover the rolled dough with a wet cloth for 30 mins
  • Dip it into dry flour
  • Roll out the paratha
  • Transfer the paratha on to a tawa
  • Cook slightly from both sides
  • Add ghee on top of the paratha
  • Cook from other side similarly
  • Add more ghee
  • TIP: To highlight the flakes on the paratha, just crush it between the palms
