Masoor spells iron shakti, which is very important to build hemoglobin levels and ward off fatigue and tiredness. Make this basic brown in advance to save on time and efforts. I have added apricots and raisins to the masoor masala to make it more interesting.
Method:
1. In a heated pan, add in oil, onion, garlic, kasori methi, coriander, salt, masoor and biryani masala with water. Mix everything together and cover the pan with a lid.
2. After about 2 minutes, take off the lid and add in cooked rice and mix it in.
3. Garnish with kasori methi and coriander and serve hot.
