Coriander Fritters

Learn how to make crispy coriander fritters/kothimbir vadi at home for a yummy and tasty evening snack or serve at as starters for any occasion.

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil
  • Once the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp rai (mustard seeds)
  • Add 1/4 tsp haldi
  • Add 1/4 tsp hing
  • Add 1 tbsp crushed ginger-garlic
  • Add 1 tsp mix masala
  • Add 1/2 cup crushed peanut powder
  • Add 1 cup chopped coriander
  • Add 1 cup gram flour
  • Add salt to taste
  • Add water
  • Mix well
  • TIP: You can also make this with spinach and radish leaves
  • TIP: The mixture should turn into a soft dough
  • TIP: The plate should also be greased with ghee/oil
  • Put the mixture in the plate and flatten it
  • TIP: Apply ghee/oil on your hands
  • Cool for 5-8 mins
  • Heat enough oil for deep frying
  • As the oil heats, cut the flattened mixture into squares
  • Once the oil is hot, drop in the pieces
  • Fry till they turn golden brown
  • Ready to serve
