Methi & Palak Puri by Archana

Method:

  • Put the finely chopped garlic and chillies into the flour
  • Add methi
  • Add palak
  • Add 1 tbsp til
  • Add salt as per taste
  • Mix the ingredients well
  • Add some oil
  • TIP: do not knead the dough as soft as roti dough and not as hard as puri dough
  • Roll the dough in a thin round shape
  • Heat the oil
  • Cut the rolled dough into triangular shapes
  • After cutting poke the dough with a fork so that it does not rise while deep frying
  • Separate the triangles
  • Put the triangles in the oil pan and fry
  • Ready to serve
