Mumbai gets its first floating restaurant: A 24-hour coffee shop on the ground floor, a banquet on the first, lounge bar on the second and an open dining section on the terrace complete the city's first floatel. A floatel is a floating restaurant, and can occupy around 660 guests. Mainly serving continental food, the restaurant called Ab Celestial will offer a 360 degree view of the sea.

A Bar Called Life opens in Juhu: Party-goers have a new destination in Juhu. A Bar Called Life opened earlier this week, and going by the details, it looks like another place serving modern Indian food. Executive chef Amninder Sandhu, who has earlier worked at Masala Bay at the Taj Lands End, has curated a menu focusing on lost recipes with a modern twist. An extensive finger foods and cocktail menu should make everyone happy.
